County Route 519 Milford Borough, Holland Township, Alexandria Township Date Posted: July 16, 2024 +
Top Line Construction will begin work the week of July 24th, 2024 and will continue for approximately 60 days. The work Top Line is completing includes high-risk tree removal, guide rail replacement, drainage repairs, milling, paving and chipseal. Expect delays and one lane traffic during this period. Delays of up to 15 minutes at a time, plan alternate route. -
A-45 (County Route 619) Alexandria Township Date Posted: July 15, 2024 +
A-45 is located on County Route 619 in Alexandria Township. The bridge is 9/10 of a mile north of 12th St. and 1/4 of a mile south of Kappus Rd. Bridge A-45 will be Closed to All Traffic starting on August 1, 2024 for approximately 4 months weather permitting. The contractor is Colonnelli Brothers. A detour will be posted. -

JCP&L is in the process of installing smart meters throughout our territory +
Holland Township should be seeing them installed approximately between November 2024 – May 2025. Residents will receive a letter in the mail in advance of JCP&L installing the smart meter (I believe it’s 60 days in advance). JCP&L then contacts the customer again approximately two weeks before the installation. The installation will be done by a FirstEnergy company employee or an employee of Wellington Energy. FirstEnergy employees have FirstEnergy uniforms and trucks. Wellington Energy employees wear a brown uniform that shows their company logo, and they drive a white truck with the Wellington Energy and FirstEnergy logos.
