Neil Hendrickson

Neil has been an arborist for over thirty-five years.  He retired in 2019 from Bartlett Tree Research Labs where he served as their Northeast Technical Specialist for over twenty years. He received his BS in Forestry from Cook College/Rutgers University, his MS in Forest Science from the University of New Hampshire, and his PhD in Silviculture and Forest Ecology from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, our country’s first School of Forestry.

Neil is an ISA Certified Arborist, a NJ Licensed Tree Expert and has a Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ).  He now serves as his Readington Township’s unofficial Arboricultural Consultant, is former chair of his township’s Environmental Commission, a member of its Planning Board and Open Space Advisory Board.  He is on the Hunterdon County’s Shade Tree Commission, is on the executive board of the NJ Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture, and is the President of the NJ Shade Tree Federation.

John Anderson

John has a BS in Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University. He worked in the private tree care industry for four years before moving to utility vegetation management. He managed the vegetation program for Jersey Central Power and Light for eight years. He retired from JCPL last year with twenty-eight years of service. He as a licensed tree expert and now works part time as a consulting arborist.  He is also a board member of the Hunterdon County Shade Tree Commission.
